International Expert Symposium to be hosted as online event at end of May

SCHAAN, Liechtenstein: For the first time, Ivoclar Vivadent will hold its International Expert Symposium (IES) as an online event. It will take place from 25 to 29 May 2020. For five consecutive days, participants will be able to benefit from the profound knowledge and expertise of 16 international speakers―true to the theme of “Succeeding together in tomorrow’s dentistry”.

As major live events are not possible at the moment, the symposium, which was scheduled to take place in Paris in France in June, will be conducted in an exciting online format. By hosting IES 2020 as an online event, Ivoclar Vivadent aims to provide its customers and partners with high-quality continuing education and training in a format that is helpful and appropriate in these challenging times. For this reason, participation in the event is completely free of charge.

At the pulse of the dental world

For five consecutive days, insights into cutting-edge technologies and first-hand information about the latest developments and trends in the dental world will be presented by 16 dental experts from eight countries in short lectures, followed by interactive discussions. In addition, more detailed on-demand sessions will be offered. Designed for interaction, live streaming and virtual panel discussions will help participants gain valuable information and inspiration.

Wide array of key topics

The lectures will follow a different theme from the dental world each day. Dr Jean-Pierre Attal of will be the scientific chairman of the symposium and will introduce the lectures and moderate the interactive panel discussions.
