As precautionary measures are adapted across different professions in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, dentists are being extra cautious to protect themselves and their patients given the nature of their work.
According to medical research reports, dentists are eight times more at risk of contracting COVID-19 infections. The American Dental Association has cautioned all dentists of their risk of exposure as they deal with the oral cavity, which is one of the easiest routes to infection due to the presence of saliva and other secretions. The biggest threat of infection at a dental clinic is airborne because of the use of aerosol sprays. Infection Control Principles and Practices are important for the well-being of everyone at the dental office and the patients. That’s why infection control procedures should be in place at your dental office.
CAPP would like to invite everyone to join the course that will give you an opportunity to learn in detail about infection control principles for dental settings with live demo. Course will take place on the 23rd and 24th of July 2020 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. GST UAE Time.
